for the Books on Korea Website (http://www.clickkorea.org/books; hereafter
referred to as the "Site"), which is provided by the Korea
Foundation (hereafter the "Foundation," or "we").
This statement describes the personal information practices for the
Site, including what type of information is collected and tracked,
how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared.
The Foundation reserves the right to make changes to this privacy
policy from time to time in accordance with Korea Foundation policy
and the law of the Korean government. We advise you to confirm any
updated statement. By using the Site, you consent to the practices

What Type of User Information
is Collected and Tracked |

1. Access Log Information
Each time you visit the Site, we collect the following access log
information:
- the IP address you connect from;
- the list of pages you visit;
- the time each page is visited;
- the page from which you were referred to the current page; and
- the user agent (browser) used.
This access log has been marked as non-identifiable, which means
that we cannot identify the individual person this data was collected
from.
2. User Information
In using specific features of the Site, such as members-only services,
posting your messages on the bulletin, or sending an e-mail to the
Webmaster, you will be asked to give us personal data as follows.
- To write on the bulletin board or send an e-mail: name and e-mail address.
- To register for an individual (private) membership: name, e-mail address, country of residence, and occupation.
- To register for a library (organization) membership: name, the organization you belong to, job title, e-mail address, phone number and fax number.

How the Information is Used |

The information may be used by the Foundation
and our affiliates to improve the Site and system administration,
to analyze site usage trends and statistics, and to promote better
communication with users of the Site. We will not share information
with third parties for their use for marketing purposes. However,
please keep in mind that there may be instances where user information
must be submitted according to the provisions of the law.

Access, Update, and Delete of User Information |

You may access, update, and/or
delete any user information that you submit to the Site. You may also
withdraw from the membership at any time. However, the book reviews,
recommendations, donations, or bulletin messages you post on the Site
are not automatically deleted by withdrawing from the membership.

We have implemented appropriate
technical and organizational measures to ensure that all of the transactions
that occur on the Site are secure. All user information submitted
to the Site is encrypted using "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL)
encryption, which is the industry standard for information security.
